Content Description
9 boxes of correspondence, books and other material from Truman Kohman. Kohman was professor of chemistry, advisor to the CMU Astronomy Club, and creator of the Scaife Hall observatory (Truman P. Kohman Observatory). He was also involved in the re-homeing the Brashear telescope, and the Amatuer Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh for many years. The collection reflects both Kohman's teaching, research and love of astronomy.
