Manuela Veloso Collection
Scope and Contents
The materials in this collection relate to Manuela Veloso's research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer science. Included here are records from Veloso's graduate student work, teaching career, her own research, and a general look at CMU projects occurring at the same time as her research. The collection also contains various robotics artifacts such as soccer robots from different years and the first Cobot. There is video documentation of robotics projects, particularly the soccer robots, as well as other Carnegie Mellon projects as collected by Veloso. The collection also includes materials from different RoboCup Federation competitions, as well as logistical information for CMU teams at these events.

Overview
The Manuela Veloso Papers document the career of Dr. Manuela Veloso, a computer scientist and Carnegie Mellon University professor. Dr. Veloso is currently the Herbert A. Simon University Professor Emerita at CMU and the Head of AI Research at J.P. Morgan. The Veloso Papers include records of her innovative work in multi-agent planning, artificial intelligence, collaborative robots, symbiotic robots, machine learning and the world of robot soccer. Included in the collection are class lectures, publications, conference proceedings, ephemera, teaching materials, and physical robotic artifacts, among other items.
