Biography

Albert May -- originally from Lakewood, Ohio -- graduated from Carnegie Tech in 1921 with a degree in mechanical engineering. While at Tech, May was involved in various campus activities. He was a member of the Technon Club, the Chairman of the Class Audit Committee, and in C.M.E.S. Follwoing his graduation he remained active with Carnegie Mellon University, attending reunions and gatherings and serving on the Board of Trustees for the Founders Fund. He also spoke at the 1991 commencement ceremony.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The material in this collection was given to Carole Panner by the son of Albert C. May. It was later transferred to the archive by Marygrace Antowski, head of Annual Giving at Carnegie Mellon University.
